An arm lift is an operation to remove loose skin and/or excessive amounts of fat deposits in the upper arm of patients. In 2004, there were roughly ten thousand arm lift surgeries performed in the US -- 4% on males and 96% on females, according to the ASPS. The largest deterrent for potential patients is the appearnace of scars following an arm lift procedure. Scars typically extend from the armpit to the elbow, along the inside of the arm.
